Dr. Claudia Miner

Claudia Miner, Ph.D. is the Vice President of Development at Waterford Institute. Miner has more than 25 years experience in non-constituent-based institutional advancement, focusing on all aspects of fundraising, public relations and marketing. Prior to coming to Waterford, Miner was Vice President for Institutional Advancement at the Desert Research Institute and Director of Development for The National Judicial College. At Waterford, Miner’s responsibilities include prospect identification, grant writing, foundation and corporate initiatives and government relations. Her work has been invaluable in extending Waterford’s reach to more children, including leading the award-winning UPSTART kindergarten readiness program, which received an i3 validation grant. Miner received her undergraduate degree from Colgate University, her master’s degree from the College of William and Mary and her doctorate from Washington State University.
